Kal Penn Is the Newest Addition to the White House

I don’t watch House. I think I saw some casting notes a while back that Kal Penn was joining the cast of the show, but it didn’t stick with me. I like Penn in Harold and Kumar, but I have few other feelings about him either way. So news of Penn leaving House was very meh to me.

The interesting thing, though, is that Penn didn’t leave to work on a movie or another show or even to become a rapper. He left to work in the White House. The mother-f@#$ing White House. Penn will be an associate director in the Office of Public Liaison.
