Countdown to New Shows: Spring 2010
I’ve been enjoying the returns of Chuck and Gossip Girl so far, but there are still so many other shows I need back on my screen. Here’s my countdown.
- Flash Forward: March 18 (Only 2 short days)
- The United States of Tara: March 22 (6 days)
- Supernatural: March 25 (9 days)
- True Blood: June 13 (89 long days)

Supernatural (obviously), Glee and True Blood the most.
I also enjoyed last summer’s Royal Pains and In Plain Sight on USA and will probably watch again this summer but I’m not as invested in those shows.
Sons of Anarchy won’t be back until the fall, but I’m already counting the days. Kinda surprised by how much I enjoyed this one, actually – not really a fan of the outlaw biker culture.
I’d like to say Flash Forward but I sort of lost interest and then it took such a long break and I didn’t really miss it. I like a lot of the people in it but it was… I don’t know what I’m looking for. The idea has a lot of potential and directions that it could take. I think maybe they tried to follow too many directions or too many characters. It feels a little out of focus or something.

Glee! How could I have forgotten Glee? It will be my early birthday present from Fox, as it returns on April 13, four days before my birthday.
Flash Forward makes me want to read the book. But, I am obsessed with remaining unspoiled, so I’m waiting until after they finish the season.
