Twitter can be the fastest way to find out the latest pop culture news. Here are a few of the newsmakers to follow.

• Perez Hilton. Love him or hate him, he’s tweets frequently and he’s often got the goods
• Maggie Furlong, AOL TV’s reporter
• Amy Amatangelo, TV reporter for the Boston Herald and Zap2It
• Matt Roush, critic for TV Guide
• Marc Malkin, reporter for E!
• Leslie Gorenstein, E!’s Answer Bitch
• Alan Sepinwall, TV critic for the NJ Star-Ledger
• Valebrity and Truth Tweet, two services designed to validate celebrity Twitter accounts. Validation is less important now that Twitter offers verified accounts, but not everyone is going that route.
