The World Is Good: Last Night's True Blood *Spoilers*
Okay, they are only spoilers if you haven’t watched the first episode of season 2 yet, but be warned. Read no farther if you don’t want to know the identity of the body in the car on the season 1 finale.
They did not kill Lafayette. They locked him up in some weird underground dungeon, but that is better than dead.
I love that the AIDS burger dude had a gay experience. I love that Maryann told off Lettie May. I love that Jason is so weak-minded that he doesn’t see that the Fellowship of the Sun is a bunch of money-grubbing predators. I love Terry Bellefleur and his weird fascination with Arlene’s bottle-red hair. But mostly, I love Eric touching up his highlights–even vamps need to take care of their hair.

I was worried that it wouldn’t live up to my expectations, but it was great. Deviated from the book in the way that would make me most happy, but still brought the awesome.
