Am I the Only One Who Watched Kings?

After the decidedly mixed reviews I saw of Kings before it aired yesterday, I went into it not expecting much. But I enjoyed the two-hour debut quite a bit.

The acting was impeccable. The story was interesting and involving. The production values were high. It is a good show that I’m looking forward to next week, even though it is in a time slot of death and had worse ratings than the Celebrity Apprentice.

If you think you might enjoy it, visit NBC.com/Kings and watch the first episode. Then watch it live next Sunday.

The reviews I had read (albeit only like two of them) were fairly positive so I kind of had high hopes for the show. And I have to admit that I wasn’t at all disappointed. It’s a little heavy at times, but like you said, the acting is great. Ian McShane is phenomenal.

I really hope that the ratings pick up, because it’s a show that deserves to be on air.
