Alyson Hannigan gave birth to her little bundle of joy

Last night, quite a few of us tweeted our reactions to Chuck in real time. If you joined us, let me know how you enjoyed it.
If you didn’t make it to the Twitter party, search for hashtags #chuck and #chuckonnbc to get caught up on the fun.
I let NBC know about the number of fans talking about Chuck on Twitter, with links to both searches.
What else can we do to build momentum and get a renewal announcement?
(On a related note, Friday Night Lights got its renewal yesterday.)
Some stylist is suing Courtney Love for Twitter defamation. A good reminder that you shouldn’t say things online that you wouldn’t say to the person’s face. Now, Courtney Love may have said all of the things she posted to the girl’s face, so not everyone can use that rule.
When did everyone get so baby crazy that they need to have babies and adopt even more?
Fergie is the latest celebrity to go on about how she would love to bear and adopt a bunch of babies.
I think it’s wonderful for people to help give children a better life and a family they wouldn’t normally have had. But, I’ve always thought that the physical limitations placed on a woman’s body help ensure that the family never has more kids than it can handle. (Newfangled fertility treatments that bring about the Jon and Kate plus 8 syndrome notwithstanding.) How can you give the necessary personal attention to that many kids at once?
Am I crazy? (I don’t have the kids yet, so I’m not talking out of personal experience.) Is it truly the more the merrier? Or is there a finite amount of personal attention each child can receive? And does a lack of personal attention lead to behavorial or psychological problems later?
Nielsen did a study that proved that they really don’t know what they are talking about. 18-34 year olds watched a lot more live TV than the brains at Nielsen thought, and 35+ use digital media a lot more. I could have told them that.
The good news for TV viewers is that networks can prove that their ads are still valuable, so we can continue to see ad-supported television.
Read more about it in Ad Age.
Last night, a bunch of us tweeted our reactions to Supernatural. Earlier this week, I tweeted through Chuck and Reaper. I had so much fun with it.
Who will join me next week? Chuck and Reaper need this kind of attention so that we can ensure that we get a third season of each.
I think Robert Pattinson is a fine actor, even though I’ve made no secret of my desire for a different actor to play Edward. I don’t care how often he bathes. I think I will scream if I hear or read one more thing about how stinky he is.
Lindsay Lohan’s new movie, Labor Pains, sounded atrocious to me when it was first announced. She pretends to be pregnant so she won’t lose her job. Really? That seems like a good idea?
Apparently, the powers that be joined my line of thinking. According to Entertainment Weekly, Labor Pains will go straight to cable and premiere on ABC Family.
Like many forms of printed media, celebrity magazines are running scared. And according to this report from Folio mag, they are right to worry.
I love books. I love monthly magazines. I love internet news and gossip sites. I hate to beat up on printed news media when they are already down, but I think immediacy and relevance of the web will kill newspapers and gossip rags, and it will do it quickly.
What do you think?
