Will Pushing Daisies See a Ratings Bump?

As the only scripted show on network television at 8:00 tonight, Pushing Daisies is in a good situation.

A lot of us are suffering from election fatigue. And we might be looking for a lush urban fairytale to take our minds off it all, at least for one hour.

Or we may never have heard of the cute little tale of the baker who briefly reanimates corpses to solve their murders. But we may stumble across it and watch it instead of the Obama-athon. And we may like it. We many talk to our friends about it. We might even come back next week to watch it again.

I recommend this course of action wholeheartedly. Record the Obama show and watch it at 9:00, when Private Practice is on. But watch Pushing Daisies at 8:00. It’s a very fun show, and it could sure use the viewers.
